Article 11 - Parliament to regulate the right of citizenship by law.

Nothing in the foregoing provisions of this Part shall derogate from the power of Parliament to make any provision with respect to the acquisition and termination of citizenship and all other matters relating to citizenship.


Explanation/Comment -

Nothing in the aforementioned provisions of this Part shall limit Parliament's ability to pass laws governing the acquisition and loss of citizenship, as well as any other issues connected to citizenship.

This article makes it abundantly obvious that the Indian Parliament possesses full legislative jurisdiction over all matters pertaining to Indian citizenship, including the creation and amendment of laws and provisions governing citizenship acquisition, termination, and other related issues.
